Large Church

Do you LONG for God? Do you yearn for God above everything else? David is such an important figure in the Bible and the reason he is so important for us to study is because....up to this point in the story of Israel....people have been traveling in circles in the wilderness as they make their way toward the kingdom and the people have had more downs than ups in setting up this kingdom.

And we have to ask, " What makes David different?" And why is David able to suceed at this point in setting up the kingdom where others have failed?

Why? Because God has sought out and found a man after his own heart. God is still looking for a person who is after his own heart.

Sundays: Join us for Sunday worship at 8:45 & 10:45 a.m. Gatherings are one and a quarter hours. Nursery, Kids and Youth Church programs run at the same time.

Small Church

Gateway Church believes that we are meant to live in a community of believers. The book of Hebrews tells us to, "not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing," but to live life authentically as we "spur one another on towards love and good deeds."

Small Church is a place for people to study God's word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life.  It's also a place we pray and care for one another. It is a safe place to get closer to other followers of Jesus and join each other in their faith journey, even if they are at a diferent spot in that journey.

Come join us in a community of authentic believers, doing life together, as we develop the DNA of Jesus in our lives!

As we journey together as a church family, our fundamental goal is to help people to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is truly makes a difference in who they are and the way they are able to live their lives.

About 3 years ago we began to talk about the DNA of Jesus. It has become our way of talking age old truths and putting them in a new and familiar language that we can all understand in the same way. As we looked at Jesus, we saw that there were some common threads woven into everything He did.

He was always Delighting in His Father

He deliberately developed Nurturing Relationships

He was consistently Acting on a Mission

As we talk about Jesus’ DNA, it’s our desire to help one another get to know Jesus better so that our DNA, what defines who we are, can transformed to look like His.

This works itself out in a wide variety of ways at Gateway but as we journey together towards this goal, there are some common themes.

Family ... supporting the family is essential as it’s within the family that faith is most effectively shared

Multiplication ... we want to see people transformed but also become catalysts for transformation

Unity ... in our diversity, we need to work together towards a common goal

Creativity ... we celebrate the variety of ways that God has equipped us to worship and serve Him.
